Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

 Email

Dear «First Name or Friend» ,

Surprised to hear that greeting from a rabbi?

If you please look at Psalms 87:6, it says: G‑d Counts with the register of the Nations. Although it is not nearly as significant as Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year which is the anniversary of all of creation, it is nevertheless a wonderful opportunity to bless and wish each other a Happy New Year. Besides, it can never hurt to spread good wishes to those around us.

So I take this opportunity on behalf of everyone at the Lori Schottenstein Chabad Center to wish you and your family the very best in 2017. May it be a year of blessings for you, for our community, for our country and for our Holy Land of Israel and may we enjoy these blessings in the best of health and happiness.

As we approach the end of the calendar year and continue our services & programs to benefit the greater community, take a moment and think back at all the ways we have grown together as a community, and as a family and how we could further grow and serve the community. If you have any thoughts or suggestions on the matter, please do share them with us.

Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom and a Happy Chanukah,
Areyah
